With AWS Transit Gateway, you can build and manage a single connection from a central gateway to each Amazon VPC, on-premise data center, and remote office on your network.
The Transit Gateway acts as a hub, controlling routing between networks where traffic is connected like spokes.
Such a hub-and-spoke model requires each network to be connected only to the Transit Gateway and not to all other networks, greatly simplifying management and reducing operating costs.
When adding a new VPC, simply connect to the Transit Gateway and it will automatically connect to any other networks connected to the same Transit Gateway.
This ease of connection allows the network to scale effortlessly as it grows.
